Privacy Policy

The short version

expand.video is a pre-launch waitlist. We collect the minimum needed to let you join the list and to email you when early access opens. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with advertisers, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What we collect

• Your email address — and, if you sign up with Google, your Google account identifier and display name. This is stored in our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Optional survey answers — the short onboarding questions about how you'd use the tool. Answering is optional and you can skip them entirely.
• Anonymous analytics — basic usage events (page views, signups) without advertising identifiers or cross-site tracking.

Why we collect it

One purpose only: managing the waitlist and contacting you about the launch of expand.video (and closely related updates, like early-access offers). Survey answers help us decide what to build first. We don't use your data for anything else, and we never send unrelated marketing.

Who processes it

Your data is handled by a small set of processors we rely on to run this site: Supabase (authentication and database), Google (if you choose Google sign-in), and our hosting provider. Each processes data on our behalf under their own GDPR-compliant terms. Some processors may store data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses.

Your rights (GDPR)

If you're in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. In practice: email us and we'll delete your account and every answer tied to it, usually within a few days. You can also delete your account yourself from the settings menu when signed in. If you believe we've mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Retention

We keep waitlist data until you ask us to remove it or until the waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first. Deleted accounts are removed from our systems, not just hidden.
